Hope Home Vision
The vision is to open a separate mens and women’s home every 18-24 months.  Each home will give members of The Beat Church the opportunity to use their gifts to reach the community and develop disciples.  Each Hope Home will serve as mentorship and development center for the residents. They will also function as an outpost for outreach to their neighborhood through a weekly neighborhood community group.

The Homes
1300-1500 sq.ft.
3 Bedrooms
  • Private bedroom for the resident mentor
  • 2 additional bedrooms with two beds and two residents per room.
  • 2 bathrooms

How They Are Funded
  • The first home will be purchased through a 1031 exchange swapping Andy & Keri’s rental property in Vancouver, WA for one in Austin, TX.
  • The residents combined monthly participation dues will pay the rent on the home.
  • The furniture and household supplies will be provided through church donations and fundraising.
  • Residents will be responsible for their own meals with some food supplemented through donations.
  • Classes and mentorship will be provided by church and community volunteers.

The only exception of information about activities which may cause harm to another life all residents are expected to

Broken Agreements
We understand growth happens in stages and there may be times where an agreement is broken. When this happens residents will work with their mentor to put a plan in place to help them honor their agreements.  If a resident continues to break agreements the resident is choosing with their actions to no longer be a resident and will be given notice to move out.
