Our Mission & Beliefs
Our Primary Mission
Our primary mission as a church is to love God, love people, and live like we mean it.
John 13:35
Jesus declared the two greatest commandments were to love God and love people. (Matthew 22:36-40). He also declared the primary way the world could identify His disciples was that they would love one another.

What We Believe About God
There is ONE GOD who is living and active, creator of heaven and earth, sustaining all things by the power of his word, revealed in God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
JESUS CHRIST is the Son of God. He is equal with the Father. He lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days showing His power over sin and death. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father. He serves as the only mediator between God and man.
THE HOLY SPIRIT gives spiritual gifts to believers, leads, comforts, sustains, empowers, and guides us in our life of faith in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit convinces the world of sin, righteousness and judgment.
THE BIBLE is God’s holy word for all mankind. It was written by human authors under the divine guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth and authority for Christian beliefs and living.
SALVATION is the forgiveness of our sin, deliverance from bondage, and the gift of new life in Christ. The salvation of sinners is by grace through the repentance of sin and belief in the Lord Jesus Christ and His perfect sacrifice. Salvation gives victory over sin and death.
A CHRISTIAN is a person who accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who lives an obedient life by God's grace working in them through the power of the Holy Spirit.
BAPTISM in water by immersion is our public demonstration of faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This symbolizes the death and burial of our old sinful nature and beginning of our new life in Christ. Baptism does not save you but shows everyone that you have already been saved through your faith in Jesus Christ.
COMMUNION is a time for believers to remember the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross by the breaking of his body and the shedding of his blood. It reminds us that we have all fallen short and are in need of a Savior.
JESUS IS COMING BACK to judge the whole earth, the righteous to eternal blessing and the wicked to eternal judgment, to make all things new and rule his kingdom for all eternity. It is the culmination of complete judgment and complete victory.
